David Hecht has been the vital force behind the creation and success of Metro Funding Corp. Mr. Hecht has over 17 years of experience in asset-based lending, sourcing real estate transactions, residential and commercial real estate valuations, as well as management of private pools of capital. His strength is his ability to structure creative loan transactions, even when time is of the essence. Committed to smooth and successful transactions, Mr. Hecht puts his personal attention into every loan, ensuring all borrowers receive immediate and careful consideration from origination to closing.
When he's not at Metro Funding headquarters or on a site inspection, Mr. Hecht enjoys the pleasure of manning the cockpit of a single-engine plane. While he holds a pilot's license primarily for his own pleasure, he is more than willing to take to the air when a regional or national client requires an extremely fast turnaround.
Prior to moving to the US, Mr. Hecht served as a Major in the Israeli army.
